I joined tiscali back in August 2008 and have enjoyed every minute.
For me, it all really started when I was 20 and I thought to myself as most of you probably have done “I’ve had enough of being ripped off by big companies and not even having enough money to buy a loaf of bread”
So I did something about it and joining Tiscali network was the best move I made…
Most of my jobs were in sales and I have been doing this for 4 years or so now but still couldn’t find a way to give us the life we both dreamed of…..I knew I would have to work hard if I wanted to get anywhere but it seemed like a never ending vicious circle of “need money for this but need this to make money” and so I thought enough is enough and so I started to search online for opportunities.
Then back in July I got an email from a chap called Martin telling me about this opportunity and at first I thought it was a scam as if it sounds too good to be true it usually is but when I called him and he said its free to join, well I thought I’m not going to loose any money, just a little bit of time and considering I had loads of spare time I thought “why not” so I gave it a go……that opportunity was Tiscali network.
Now the two main things that have really helped me with Tiscali are fantastic up line support, pay per click (PPC) advertising and a professional looking 08 telephone number for my business, now you are probably thinking “but that is expensive”.
Well no… it doesn’t have to be expensive, and I’ll tell you how. I’d like to share this with you in the hope it will help new and struggling IBAs.
First of all, www.tryadcenternow.co.uk – with this you will get £50 of free pay per click advertising; however you have to pay £5.00 which is a registration fee.
Now I know £5 is £5 at the end of the day, but that small investment that gets you £50 in free clicks could equate to over 50 customers or even a few qualified IBAs in your down line. Just think if you get just one customer or one qualified IBA your making your £5 back plus a massive profit.
The second thing is an ‘08’ number, but unlike the (PPC) this is completely free.
This switchboard system has many useful features that will benefit your business. Whether you want to create a more professional image, have a national presence, manage your incoming calls more effectively, track your inbound response from your adverts and marketing campaigns or install disaster recovery for your phone lines.

Pipex Update
The Pipex FREE wireless router promotion has now ended as of 31st December 2008. The router will now be a chargeable extra at £34.03 (ex VAT).
A connection fee of £40 will also be applied however this does not apply to customers migrating in from another supplier with a MAC code. This connection fee only applies to completely new set ups.
The Pipex website was updated with this information on 02/01/09 so please adjust all promotional material you may have stating FREE wireless router for Pipex.
The Pipex leaflets will be updated ASAP and the FREE wireless router for all Tiscali consumer products remains the same for the time being.

CSM Update
Please note that from Wednesday 7th January 2009, CSM customers will be charged a fee of £99 to activate a ceased line or a stopped line.
Below are some useful customer Q and A’s:
Q: Tiscali has advertised £30 set up fee for up to 8Mb broadband, calls and free line rental bundle, but now they are quoting me a £99 line activation fee, why have they increased the pricing?
A: The £30 set up fee is for when you have an active BT telephone line. The £99 activation fee is a charge to activate your line to supply Tiscali services. The one-off £99 line activation fee is still cheaper than BT who charges £122.33.
Q: Will I be charged £99 line activation fee in addition to the £30 set up?
A: No, only one fee will be charged.
Q: When will the fee be charged?
A: If it is a ceased line then at point of sale and only credit cards will be accepted. If it is a stopped line then on the first bill by direct debit.

This page contains access to certain forms we believe are necessary when approaching a customer in person.Over the last few months it appears more IBA’s have opted to offline marketing to gather customers and have gained some success in doing so.
Therefore we want to support this and offer ID Badge request forms, Application Forms and other forms we feel would be useful at the point of sale.
