Exciting Changes to the Pay Plan

The New Pay Plan

As of 4th May 2009, key changes will be introduced to the Pay Plan including paying you an extra £5 for each product you register.

That’s a 50% increase in commission for all new product registrations! For example we currently pay you £30 for a Broadband, Talk and TV registration but with the new changes implemented you will now receive £45. That’s not all, we are also removing the annual administration fee entirely making Tiscali Network a completely FREE business opportunity.

Other changes are focused around ensuring the opportunity is even more efficient in helping you develop and propel your business forward.

Changes to your Pay Plan include:

Additional £5 Extra Per Customer Product
Increased IBA Development Bonus from £30 to £45 for each new qualified IBA
Increased Team Bonus from £0.75p to £1.00
Removal of the Annual Administration Fee
Restructuring the way Residual Income is calculated
Introducing the ‘Residual Income Equal Share Ruling’ for Platinum & Diamond Associates
Removal of the Leadership Pool
Removal of the Independent Business Member (IBM) position
Removal of the Team Building Bonus
Cumulative element of the Activity rule to be removed

As mentioned above, these changes are due to go live on Monday 4th May.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately no refund can be offered to IBAs that have paid their Annual Administration Fee already as this is part of the Current Pay Plan.

Well it’s 2009 and time to make all those New Year resolutions! Ask yourself “What would you do if you knew you couldn’t FAIL?” What would your vision look like for the next year? Beyond next year?

I guarantee a whole lot more than those tiny little goals of losing that last 10-20 or MORE pounds, that old familiar “I shall quit smoking”, or even more timely in this economic climate this year – get out of debt and save more!?

So here we are again, a new year, a chance to renew those vows you make each and every year to yourself – To do more, to have more, to BE more! Come on let’s shake it up and do it differently in 2009!

Why?

Many people start the New Year with great intentions, great optimism and great resolutions. Still, the stark reality is by January 24th each year, 80% of us have already broken their resolution. More seriously than that is the decision they adopt of defeat. They realize it just isn’t going to happen, so they give up trying because they believe nothing will change in their lives.

Where is their resiliency factor? We have all heard the story of Colonel Sanders, and the 1000’s of no’s that it took before he got his fried chicken business off the ground… where would we be if he gave up so early in the game? NO Kentucky Fried Chicken – My advice to you to achieve real success this January?

Become contrarian… disruptive even. Refuse to be one of those dismal statistics. You deserve better – a whole lot better!

The world is full of enough gloomy news. Don’t bring even more of it into your life, your thoughts, your dreams. “Some people dream about success, and others wake up and do something about it!”

Harvey Mackay…What ever works is my motto. So just say no to giving up on you and your dreams within 24 days of a new year. Decide to belong to a different tribe than that other 80% of defeatists.

Tiscali needs more leaders. Leaders need to strengthen their character. Toughen up. Be different. Think different. Live different. Work different.

We are in a time of incredible opportunity and change. Tell yourself, “I am going to be the change”. Let’s all shout that we will NOT be sitting on the sidelines whining about falling off the goals wagon 24 days into the New Year. So this year, I am going to start with my Talent and Finish with my Strength.

Care to join me? I am going to live as if failure wasn’t an option, only an opportunity to expand my business. I am going to start with the end in mind – for real this year.

No more simple goals… I want to really live full out and maximize the Tiscali opportunity! Now I really know the importance of the WHY factor! Why am I doing this? Why are you doing this? What is your Why?

As soon as you recognise your Why, the business takes on a whole new life…You can feel it, taste it, see it, hear it, live it. Then get down to it, so you can make the Tiscali dream a reality…You can do it, be it, then have it.

Important Price Changes

Price Adjustments

As part of our regular product and pricing reviews, like many businesses we have made some changes to our offers. These currently include the removal of introductory discounts for all products.

Even with these price changes, Tiscali still offers some of the best value packages in the market and all packages still come with a 12 month contract unlike many competitors whose offers only apply to 18 month contracts.

And remember, IBAs have an even greater advantage with exclusive Tiscali packages, not offered through the main sales line, such as unlimited Broadband and free weekend calls for just £12.99 a month!

18 month contract:

From Friday 23 January all customers that are unable to get our free line rental product will be offered a full price line rental at £10.99 instead of the £8.24 (25% discount) option.

I joined tiscali back in August 2008 and have enjoyed every minute.

For me, it all really started when I was 20 and I thought to myself as most of you probably have done “I’ve had enough of being ripped off by big companies and not even having enough money to buy a loaf of bread”

So I did something about it and joining Tiscali network was the best move I made…

Most of my jobs were in sales and I have been doing this for 4 years or so now but still couldn’t find a way to give us the life we both dreamed of…..I knew I would have to work hard if I wanted to get anywhere but it seemed like a never ending vicious circle of “need money for this but need this to make money” and so I thought enough is enough and so I started to search online for opportunities.

Then back in July I got an email from a chap called Martin telling me about this opportunity and at first I thought it was a scam as if it sounds too good to be true it usually is but when I called him and he said its free to join, well I thought I’m not going to loose any money, just a little bit of time and considering I had loads of spare time I thought “why not” so I gave it a go……that opportunity was Tiscali network.

Now the two main things that have really helped me with Tiscali are fantastic up line support, pay per click (PPC) advertising and a professional looking 08 telephone number for my business, now you are probably thinking “but that is expensive”.

Well no… it doesn’t have to be expensive, and I’ll tell you how. I’d like to share this with you in the hope it will help new and struggling IBAs.

First of all, www.tryadcenternow.co.uk – with this you will get £50 of free pay per click advertising; however you have to pay £5.00 which is a registration fee.

Now I know £5 is £5 at the end of the day, but that small investment that gets you £50 in free clicks could equate to over 50 customers or even a few qualified IBAs in your down line. Just think if you get just one customer or one qualified IBA your making your £5 back plus a massive profit.

The second thing is an ‘08’ number, but unlike the (PPC) this is completely free.

This switchboard system has many useful features that will benefit your business. Whether you want to create a more professional image, have a national presence, manage your incoming calls more effectively, track your inbound response from your adverts and marketing campaigns or install disaster recovery for your phone lines.

Pipex Update

The Pipex FREE wireless router promotion has now ended as of 31st December 2008. The router will now be a chargeable extra at £34.03 (ex VAT).

A connection fee of £40 will also be applied however this does not apply to customers migrating in from another supplier with a MAC code. This connection fee only applies to completely new set ups.

The Pipex website was updated with this information on 02/01/09 so please adjust all promotional material you may have stating FREE wireless router for Pipex.

The Pipex leaflets will be updated ASAP and the FREE wireless router for all Tiscali consumer products remains the same for the time being.

CSM Update

Please note that from Wednesday 7th January 2009, CSM customers will be charged a fee of £99 to activate a ceased line or a stopped line.

Below are some useful customer Q and A’s:

Q: Tiscali has advertised £30 set up fee for up to 8Mb broadband, calls and free line rental bundle, but now they are quoting me a £99 line activation fee, why have they increased the pricing?
A: The £30 set up fee is for when you have an active BT telephone line. The £99 activation fee is a charge to activate your line to supply Tiscali services. The one-off £99 line activation fee is still cheaper than BT who charges £122.33.

Q: Will I be charged £99 line activation fee in addition to the £30 set up?
A: No, only one fee will be charged.

Q: When will the fee be charged?
A: If it is a ceased line then at point of sale and only credit cards will be accepted. If it is a stopped line then on the first bill by direct debit.

A professional engineer will visit the customer’s premises at a time convenient to the customer. The main benefits to the customer are:

The engineers will optimise the connection to ensure it achieves the maximum possible speed your line can provide.

The installation will include setup of the internet connection on up to 3 computers for no additional charge.

No time or technical expertise needed, the engineers will ensure the connection is 100% working on your computers before leaving..

The engineer can also assist with related IT queries while onsite for an additional charge. The agent should note any additional work the customer might desire (e.g. printer setup, internet connection on over 3 computers, software installation etc) in the notes of the booking tool. The customer should be told the engineer will provide a quote when onsite

SCHEDULING VISITSFEEDBACK TO DATE

Thanks to feedback from a recently completed IBA installation the process to ensure the installation takes place as soon as possible after the customer go live date has been reviewed and amended. Any change in the line go live date will result in the customer being informed and offered the chance to reschedule their visit to coincide with this date.

The engineer’s performance has been rated by the customers as 4 or 5 out of 5 on all installations completed to date.

Commissions for a Premium and Premium Plus product will remain at #40 and #60 respectively. No commission can be paid for the FREE installation however.

This is a great unique selling point that many competitors charge for.

3 Reasons Why IBAs Have The Edge Over Christmas

We have three very good reasons why IBA’s have the competitive edge over Tiscali’s main stream product base of customers…..

These are:

1. As of 10th December 2008 Tiscali’s main product options will offer customers a choice of ‘no modem‘, ‘a free modem‘ or ‘a chargeable wireless router‘ when they register for broadband. Your IBA website however will remain unchanged and still offer a ‘FREE wireless router’.

2. From 12th December 2008 the main product pages will be removing the £4.49 broadband and Free Weekend Talk option but again we will leave this unchanged on your IBA website, giving you effectively the cheapest product offering for a bundle on any Tiscali website.

3. IBA exclusive product offer – Free Tiscali+ digital recorder for new Tiscali Network customers! Until 31st January 2009 IBA’s can offer all new TV customers a free Tiscali+ set top box that usually retails at £50. Great for all those programmes over this Christmas holiday.

You have a great opportunity to capitalise on these advantages and unique selling points during Christmas and the start of the new year. Money is tight in January for many people and a low cost bundled option for less than £5 is certainly attractive to these customers.

Likewise saving £50 on a hard disc recorder such as Tiscali +, can make ‘staying in’ that much more appealing. Don’t miss out on having the edge over your fellow affiliates etc – competition is strong on and off line and these opportunities have to be taken wholeheartedly.
